Product Details

Application: In wide-ranging field trials covering a wide variety of animal, bird, and reptile species the product has demonstrated good healing and antimicrobial action while at the same time was shown to be effective against a variety of insects. Long residual effectiveness was also demonstrated across the disinfecting and insecticidal spectrums. The product is water-soluble and can be rinsed clean with water.

Antimicrobial Action: The antimicrobial action of the product is based upon core actives of the F10 compound as used in other F10 antiseptic wound spray and disinfectant products. At the concentrations in this product, the efficacy achieved is log5 reduction in microbial counts against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as fungi, yeast and mold. F10 has proven viricidal effectiveness against both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses.

  • Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and pets.
  • Flammable, keep away from naked flames when spraying.
  • Extremely dangerous to fish or aquatic life. Do not spray in areas containing aquaria, fish tanks, and bowls. Do not contaminate aquaria, fish bowls, ponds, or waterways with this product.

Uses: For use as a topical antiseptic for surface wounds, to repel flies and to treat infestations due to fly strike in raptors, pet birds, captive small mammals, captive reptiles and captive exotic zoo mammals.

Use only when there is a reasonable certainty that the treated animal will not be consumed by humans or food producing animals.

Directions for use: Use disposable gloves during application and wash hands after use.

Use in well ventilated areas. Clean the wound prior to application. Apply a maximum of 5 applications per animal with multiple wounds (1-2 sprays per wound). Spray only the wound site. Repeat once a week, if necessary or as advised by your veterinarian.
