We’ve attached 2 to ceiling with large carabiner (stainless steel) and our minimacaw and Grey enjoys them. We also use an additional one—that was bought prior —to catch any escapees while also providing protection for us(our hands) and in doing so has allowed bird to step up from floor or dining room chairs onto atom and become acquainted with atom before hanging from ceiling
